Bubble Shield: The most basic shield. It can absorb empathic projections from everyday people (that simply means, stopping peoples emotions interfering with you.)
C
Charging: Filling your body with psi, usually done in preparation to energy work.
Chaos Shield: Multiple shields that are split into panels, that then zoom around a psion in seemingly random patterns. This is done for disorientation purposes only.
Chi/Qi/Ki: Another form of energy work that is more spiritual, as well as more physical than psi.
Cloaking Shield: This covers two different types of shields. 1) A shield programmed to cover your signature, or 2) A shield programmed to hide your physical body.
Conceptual programming: Programming a construct using images rather than words; programming a construct by use of concepts (long strings of thought).
D
Direct Psychokinesis: The use of psychokinesis on an object with going through any sort of filter (i.e. a construct). Examples: spinning the psiwheel, WITHOUT the use of a psiball.

Empathy: The use of psi to project or detect emotions.
F
Force Bubble Theory: A construct is programmed to -with the use of psychokinesis- exert any force on its surroundings.
K
Ki/Chi/Qi: Another form of energy work that is more spiritual, as well as more physical than psi.
L
link: connecting your mind with another's. This is generally used in telepathy and empathy, but it can be used for many other abilities.
M
Marshmallow Shield: A shield designed to absorb all incoming… well everything.
Mirror Shield: A little more complicated than the bubble shield, still fairly simple though. It is a shield designed to deflect incoming hostile energy signals and emotions. Simple.
O
Overload: When the body experiences a physical reaction (usually painful) because of the mind trying to experience more emotions than it can handle.
P
ping: sending short simple -often just one word- thoughts at a person.
Q
Qi/Ki/Chi: Another form of energy work that is more spiritual, as well as more physical than psi.
S
Shield: A construct commonly programmed to protect a person (and not always the psion). It is however often used in a way to mean any construct that goes around the person.
Signature: Your psionic ‘identity.’ This is used for scanning, sending constructs to the person, and in linking.
T
telepathic suggestion: the use of telepathy to influence the thoughts or actions of another individual.
telepathy: the use of psi to detect or project thoughts.
